Seems odd that you are coaching car sharing but you currently do not have any cars listed for rent and your last rental was back in March of 2022

Hello "Power Host." Your comment has zero merit and is poorly thought out. Let's explore all of the reasons why.

On February 12th two teams will go to the Super Bowl. They are the best teams in the NFL. Both teams are led by coaches who led them to the Super Bowl. You'll see the coaches when you watch the game. They will be the guys on the sidelines with headsets and clipboards. But will they be in uniform on the field playing? No, they'll be coaching the two best teams in the league who got there, in part, thanks to their coaching combined with the talent on the field. Most professional sports coaches at some point stopped playing the game and began coaching the game.

In the world of higher education, a percentage of professors and instructors stopped working in a specific field, and began teaching the next generation how to be successful in that field. They are still masters in their field, but are focused on helping others become masters.

What makes a great business person? Well, it's someone who knows how to spot trends and take advantage of brief moments to make a lot of money. Kind of like what I did when I saw used vehicle prices at historic highs and knew that was the right moment to sell my entire 4-year old fleet for record prices and create a net gain in the tens-of-thousands of dollars, that wouldn't have been there if I'd waited until 2023 to sell them after the used vehicle market crash.

A great business person also knows how to look at the bigger picture and create an even bigger business. Kind of like what I've been doing since September of 2022 when I began building fleets of vehicles in 8 different cities around the country, with an additional 6 cities about to come online this year. I've built investor and logistics connections to position right around 100 vehicles in those cities so far, which should top around 500 by year end.

A great business person also knows how to build other streams of income while identifying and resolving pain points in an industry. Kind of like what I've done with the three additional businesses I've built in the carshare space, all of which help other hosts be more profitable and successful.

What about being a good human being? Great coaches are usually also good human beings. Kind of like me when I idled my whole business in March, 2022 to go sit by my mother's bedside and hold her hand, and wipe mucus from her face, and change her soiled clothing, for a couple of months while she died of cancer, giving her the gift of dying with her family by her side, which was far more important than my Turo vehicles.

I don't know about you, but when I think about who I'd like to have coaching me to build a successful business, I'm going to look for someone with a track record of building not just one successful businesses, but multiple businesses themselves, making smart business moves, leading others to success (like the almost 1,700 I've already helped), and being a good and decent human being.

Yes, I could have continued washing and prepping and flipping a fleet of vehicles in my city. But because I am not satisfied with playing small, and because my greatest satisfaction comes from helping others be successful, I have instead chosen to help thousands of other people be successful themselves and, while doing so, expand my own carsharing business across multiples cities with hundreds of vehicles.

So there you have it. All of the reasons why your comment is more of a trolling attempt to diminish someone else than anything that brings any value or benefit to anyone else. Do better.

Have a great day "Power Host!"

Hi William, how were you able to determine through your research that the majority of people renting were local and using it for their daily commuter?

Thanks Laura 🌞🌴
