Turo Vehicles Used in Series of Armed Robberies
A Houston woman is accused of renting cars that police claim were used in a series of armed robberies, according to a report by KHOU 11. One of the robberies was a home invasion that resulted in one resident dying, according to court documents. Houston police said the suspect rented seven vehicles through Turo, a carsharing mobile app. At least four of the vehicles have been linked to aggravated robberies in Houston’s Galleria area, according to court documents.
